Dyslexia

Join the Madison SEPAG on Thursday, October 27th at 7.30pm as Guest Speaker Susan E. Miller, Director of the Robinowitz Education Center presents;

Dyslexia Identification in NJ 9.0

Why 9.0? It's been 9 years since NJ passed their Dyslexia laws, yet every year, thousands of children are not appropriately identified and/or provided with appropriate interventions to remediate their Dyslexia. The consequences are not just low scores on standardized measures, but low self-esteem, rising anxiety, lost potential, and withdrawal from friendships. This presentation will go into the details of the current landscape in NJ and current research in the field of Dyslexia.
